My Summer Staycation | Jacksonville Documentary Family Photographer

Every year I look forward to a little vacation with my niece. Since I don't have children of my own, this is one of the most meaningful things that I get to do.  I love being with kids and I can feel my soul being lifted up by their carefree hearts and the sheer joy they find in the smallest of things. This year, we had a staycation and had a blast. We played at St. Augustine Beach and in the backyard inflatable pool; we made a colorful piñata and ate ice cream; we slid down the slide at the Eagle Harbor pool and kayaked and swam in gorgeous Silver Glen Springs.  Taking a break from life to really live was just what my heart needed this summer. Love this girl. Love our time together.
